Malcolm Rands - Ecostore

This all started when Malcolm loved to be a stay at home dad, so him and melanie started the business from their dug out basement. They started to sell there household cleaners, body and baby products, a full range of organic gardening products and a full range of pet products. At 60 Malcolm Rands is as passionate as ever about caring for the environment and people, and building strong communities. He says he has a fantastic management team and is taking a back seat in the day-to-day running of the business. In my opinion this is a great way to start a business.

Kat Gee - kagi jewellery 

when she kick-started her jewellery business Kagi. The year was 2006, she was 24, full of great ideas for design, and leapt into a world dominated by old men, old thinking and gold and diamonds. The business based in Newmarket Auckland has grown phenomenally quickly. 

here is the work I did from business studies, we had to choose two people from New Zealand to write about and these are the people that I chose.

For B&E market day students are selling products so they can make money and see how much profit they can get, my group is selling Oobleck - Oobleck is a slime thing and when you punch it it goes rock hard and when you relax your finger or hand it melts.

the price of my Oobleck is $2.00. its just spouse to be fun and messy and all of that.

the reason why it is $2.00 is because it does dry up and we don't want it to be that expensive because of that reason and its not free because we need to make money and make a profit.
