Brrrr is anyone cold around here?

Antarctica is the windiest, driest, desert in the whole world but … it’s not an ordinary desert, it is a snow desert. That's just amazing!!

Looks

Antarctica looks like it has snow and ice and really really tall maintains you can see some icebergs that are HUMONGOUS

Feels

Feels SUPER COLD, feels like frost bite it can be super cold over there

Sounds

Sounds SUPER windy and it sounds like someone is whistling

The temperature can go down to -75C. Underneath the snow and ice there is plain old land .There is lots of ice in Antarctica, that whats makes it ICY COLD. Antarctica also had lots of HUGE ICEBERGS. Did you know if you drop an ice cube in water you can see that it floats up on the water and there's still some under the water - that’s the same as an iceberg. All icebergs have a top that is big but the bottom that is under water is HUGE!

Antarctica is the coldest continent. In the winter the temperature is -89.6C that’s only in the winter. In summer the coldest that it drops  to is -15C. The temperature sits below -0C (-32F)most of the time.

Antarctica is really interesting, Amazing, It’s a snowflake wonderland in Antarctica. Antarctica is really fascinating.

I like Antarctica there lot to discover like mystery. You can find out lots of things.

In literacy we have been learning about Antarctica the first thing we did was to go to the Antarctica center to have some fun and learn about Antarctica we went in the snow and ice room my piece of writing has a Introduction, Characteristics and lucky last the Evaluation

I used a hook and adjectives this was a description writing hope you enjoy  .

My Rainy Day Art

 

On Tuesday we did art it was called rainy day art. This is what I did. I really liked doing it. We used wax crayons

We dyed it. You can see the dye in the background. This was really really REALLY fun I hope you like it too.

snot writing

The gooey stuff sat disgustingly in the cup.

It smelt like glue,shampoo, conditioner and lotion, in the container.

It smelt like gross sunscreen,stuff like green sunscreen in the container.

Its smells like buttery, slimey stuff.  

It felt slimy,buttery stuff going out of the container.

It sounded like popping bubbles,slippy,gooey in the slimey container.

It looked like green gross stuff.

It looked  like dish washing liquid.

It looked like glue, lotion and oil.

It felt like slime dripping down my hands.

It felt like liquid disgusting.

Our mud Writing

The gooey, icky, crunchy, sloppy, sticky stuff was in the container.

It smelt like brand new paper that's just been sent out .

It looked  bubbly, rocky and yucky.

It felt like small rocks, gross icky, slimy stuff.

It  sounded sloppy, and like crackling lips,noisily

Marvellous, murky, messy, mud.

Elf

             Today I started doing an elf and we did it yesterday as well and it took me a LONG time

                                                   but I actuality finished it and this is my elf.

             We had to glue or tape on the ears hat and head IT WAS SO FUN!!! I loved it.
