The water cycle

Today A.K.A 29/8/19 Thursday

We were learning about the water cycle. We had a piece of paper and some shapes that had some words about the water cycle. Here are some of the words:

Precipitation

Transpiration

Hurricanes

Water vapour

Carbon dioxide

Evaporation

The 5 words we are originally learning are

Water cycle

The water cycle is connected to all 5 of those words and they make up the water cycle and then the water cycle is about climate change. Acid water is connected to climate change and condensation and water cycle, then hurricanes are related to water cycle, evaporation, condensation and carbon dioxide is related to water vapour and water cycle.

for this drama we are learning about laughter, laughter is healthy because if you don't laugh you have no emotions basically

Drama

last week we played a couple of games and they were called:

two truths and a lie
detective
tequila
statue

for two truths and a lie, you have to get a buddy and you have to say two truths and a lie and your partner has to guess what one is the lie

for the detective game, you have to go in a circle and one person goes outside and there is a person who changes the move and the other people copy it

for tequila, you have to move in a circle but you have to point at a person and say tequila and you can switch ways

for the statue game, there are to people and they the rest of the people have to stand still and if the 2 people catch them they are out

All my key points

this week we are learning about key points, my group and I are reading a story called fever its about a girl who goes to a camp and she gets a really bad fever and hears something in her ears from a ghost here a some of my key points

• many people had died at the camp
• Carly heard someone singing at night
• Carly did not believe ghosts
• she wondered how many people died
• at lunch, Carly began to feel bad
• she thought 220 people died there
• Carly had been waiting for so long to go camping
• she sang to herself to pass time
• there was a message in black and white for her
• Carly did not feel lucky going to camp
• Carly went to bed with a sore throat but did not tell her parents because she wanted to go to camp

P.E

On Tuesday we played Football, Bench ball, Floor hockey.

we played in the gym and set the gym to 3 different areas we got put into 6 teams because there were 3 different areas the first game my team was bench ball what we had to do is we had to protect the goal and it's like a netball game except the one person stands upon a seat and if your team catches the ball that you throw to them that person goes up on the same seat or bench that you are on

Floor hockey

we also did a game called floor hockey, its when you grab a floor hockey stick and you then you play hockey but the benches are the goal so you kind of have to zig-zag to get past people to get the goal, you put the bench sideways and you play floor hockey.

Football

for football, it's like normal football you have to kick the ball to get a goal and then you verse the other team you also have to do tricks and you have to have a goal person.

for these activities, I rated myself a 3 because I was using positive words like you've got this and good job to whoever that person was. I was also cheering on the other team sometimes, the challenged that I had overcome was cheating basically all the teams cheated but atleast we tried and got over it. 

P.E

100 pts game

on Tuesday this week, we did P.E for P.E did a warm-up the warm-up was doing 100 pts game its when you have to run across the gym and if you do 1 you get 1 point you have a group of 3 and if you go running with another person in your team you get 2 points if you do 1 run across the gym because both of you are going at the same time.

Floor Hockey Game

we also did a game called floor hockey, its when you grab a floor hockey stick and you line up in a line on a set and 7 people go up at a time and you verse the other team (TS) and the person who gets it in the goal first there team wins after you get the goal you put the hockey stick down and then you go to the back of the line and the next 7 people go up.

For this activity, I rated my self as a 3 because I was taking part and saying positive words to encouraging my team

6 corner soccer

in 6 corner soccer, you have to get in a team of 7 or 8 and give yourself a number and once the teacher shouts out the numbers you play soccer you make the goals with the long seats you put the seats on the side and then you go play soccer and whoever gets a goal for there team everyone goes back to there team and the teacher shouts out the next numbers.

For this activity, I rated my self as a 3 because I protected the goal and I used positive words to keep my team going and getting goals.
