Today in science we have been learning about particles and how when you heat up some particles it speeds up and when you freeze it slows down because they are liquid and solids this is how particles interact.
say if someone takes there socks off and they have smelly feet then the people around that person will smell the particles first then the particles will spread around and everyone would be able to smell it then it would go away
aim: observe the effect of temp on speed diffusion
today in our experiment we put cold water on one plastic lid and put hot water on another plastic lid and we put this thingy powder into both of the waters and it spread out quicker in the hot water then it did in the cold water because the cold moves slower because they have less kinetic energy and they warmth has more kinetic energy.
