Hurumanu - Renewable Energy

Aim: To make a solar powered oven.

Materials: 

1. tinfoil   
2.   cellotape
3.   pizza box
4.   black plastic
5.   vivid
6.   ruler
7. straw
8. news paper
9. glad wrap
10. scissors
11. chocolate biscuit
12. marshmellow

Steps:

1.   assemble the pizza box
2.   cut a square in the lid of the pizza box
3.   put some tin foil on the inside of the lid
4. place a piece of black plastic on the bottom inside the pizza box
5. cellotape a piece of cellotape over the cut square on the lid
6.  wrap up tight some newspaper and make it into a square so it fits on the top of the black plastic on the bottom of the box
7. get a straw to hold up the lid
8. place your smores on a plate and put them into the pizza box oven to cook in the sun

Conclusion

in science last week we made a solar oven, we were making smores in them but it was raining so we did not cook them that much I think it was fun because we made SMORES and solar ovens but I did not get to eat the smore because we all forgot to get it apart from some people.
